Xinja tales: Joshua, drama & maths

We like to understand what really makes our customers tick. Often they tell us their stories, which can be quirky and unexpected. We thought it would be fun to share. Introducing Joshua, who loves drama, maths and pillows.

“I fell in love with the openness in their development and the goals that Xinja has” – Joshua

This creature can be spotted in the wild looking at interesting buildings and contemplating the differences in mood that areas can give it. When in its nest, it busies itself with technology, learning how to control computers or phones, or perhaps reading about psychology, economics, or health.

Tell us something unexpected about you?

Despite being a massive computer and math nerd, I absolutely love drama and theatre!

Confession time: what do you waste money on?

I have an on again off again addiction to diet soft drink

Halo time: what’s the best thing you’ve spent money on?

Ooohhhh this is a hard one… probably the money I’ve spent on holiday experiences (Japan, or Melbourne). Close behind though are things like decent shoes and pillows that are more mundane but very worthwhile working out the best option.

How did you find out about xinja? Why did you choose xinja?

I found out about Xinja while looking at the up and coming neobanks ages ago… I fell in love with the openness in their development and the goals that Xinja has of genuinely helping customers with money.

If sky’s the limit, what would xinja create?

What would Xinja create? You like hard questions! Possibly the ability for the app to understand your pay cycles and bills and guide you to how much to keep for bills and the best way to save what’s left for major things but also spend on the good things in life.
